The demand for old nickels has picked up. Shield Nickels and Three Cent Nickels in "Good" condition demand at least $11, while Liberty Nickels can be worth up to $20. The popular Buffalo Nickel is valued a minimum of 40 cents, with its 1919-D, 1921-S or a 1926-S trading into hundreds of dollars.
